Protecting teeth during sports and sleep
I’ve started boxing recently and realized my cheap store-bought mouthguard isn't doing much. Also, my partner says I grind my teeth at night. Can I get one guard that does both, or do I need separate ones for sports and sleep?

You definitely need separate ones because a sports guard is designed for impact, while a night guard is designed to prevent wear from grinding. You should check out the custom options at https://albertadentures.com/service/custom-mouthguards-in-calgary-for-sports-sleep-dental-protection because a custom fit is much safer than the "boil and bite" versions. A custom guard will stay in place during a match and won't interfere with your breathing. For sleeping, a thinner, more comfortable custom guard will save your enamel and help prevent those morning jaw aches.
